<\/i>\u00a0BACK<\/a><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ offset=”vc_col-xs-4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n <\/i>\u00a0BACK TO LIST<\/a><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ offset=”vc_col-xs-4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n NEXT<\/a>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column] LIFTING AND INSTALLING WOODEN BEAMS IN GERMANY WITH A TORO D-406 CONFIGURED AS A COUNTERBALANCE LIFTER [\/vc_column_text] Installation of wooden beams of over 4 metres in length by the Austrian company<\/span> Holzbau Stra\u00dfer GmbH<\/a>, in the German town of Traunstein.\u00a0 As a first step in the installation of windows in a new building, Holzbau Stra\u00dfer had to fasten large, solid wood beams to the top of the window openings, and to do so they used a<\/span> TORO D-406 lifter<\/a> from GUIL.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1667234272187{margin-top: 15px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;}”]<\/p>\n For this job, the versatility of the TORO lifters, which can be configured as counterbalance lifters by positioning the legs behind the mast, was key, as the beams had to be fastened to the very edge of the window-frame.<\/span><\/p>\n With the<\/span> counterweights ref. CW-01<\/a> placed in the<\/span> counterweight holder ref. CB-01<\/a> on the legs, and the forks inverted in order to be as close as possible to the ceiling, the lifter was able to take the beams right up to the wall and lift them into place to be fastened to the ceiling.<\/span><\/p>\n The beams, of approximately 15x30cm section, then formed the basis of the window frames for the building.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1653300230734{margin-top: 30px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;}”]<\/p>\n More than 10 years ago, GUIL created their special 2-in-1 lifter base<\/strong>, a feature that is unique in the world<\/strong>, which allows any of our B-, C- and D-range models to be used as a standard lifter<\/strong> with the legs in front of the mast, under the forks, or as a counterbalance lifter<\/strong>, with the legs behind the mast and weighted down with counterweights.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”12776″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right”][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n This makes GUIL\u2019s 2-in-1 TORO lifter much more versatile than any other lifter and, of course, far cheaper than buying two machines. Use it as a standard lifter normally, but when you need to get as close as possible to the workface (walls, vehicles, etc), or if you need to move a load up a ramp without fear of the lifter overbalancing, then transform it into a counterbalance machine in just a couple of minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n
