GUIL celebrate their 40th Birthday

The Spanish company GUIL is celebrating a very special year.\u00a0 Having worked since 1983 in the metal sector, the Valencian factory has stood out in the production of lifting devices for 40 years.<\/span><\/p>\n40 years full of effort, dedication and determination, which have taken the company from being a small workshop in the heart of the city of Valencia to being a well-known figure in the industrial sector the world over.<\/span><\/p>\nGUIL was born as a family company in 1983, the result of the vision and entrepreneurship of Eduardo Hinarejos, the company CEO, sowing the seed of the current group.\u00a0 By the end of the 1980s, GUIL already stood out with the first supports and lifting devices manufactured in Spain, seeking perfection in all its products.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1647256012468{padding-top: 20px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”21898″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
The 1990s were years of expansion: the great demand for GUIL\u2019s products meant that very soon the company moved to a new industrial estate, its current headquarters.\u00a0 GUIL adopted the form of a group, with divisions devoted to different markets: material lifters aimed at the industrial world (sectors such as construction, air-conditioning, sun-roofs and pergolas, and glass) and products for the events industry, manufacturing staging equipment, sound and lighting towers, and truss structures and rigging.<\/span><\/p>\nWith the new century after the year 2000, the company made great advances.\u00a0 This period produced many new product launches in all the divisions, with the GUIL team taking on new engineers, and specialists in technology and marketing, who form part of the GUIL family and project, feeling the same commitment.<\/span><\/p>\nA few years later, as part of its natural evolution, GUIL reinforced its group identity and launched a new company image.\u00a0 These years saw great technological evolution, with changes in marketing and international expansion.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1683701145846{padding-top: 25px !important;}”][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1683703822931{padding-top: 5px !important;padding-bottom: 5px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”21936″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1683701127631{padding-top: 25px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
At the same time, the company has continued to expand its installations: a new 3000m2<\/sup> facility was recently opened, housing 4 production lines equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.\u00a0 At present, GUIL has almost 9000 m2<\/sup> of installations.\u00a0 In 2020, the marketing department designed two different logos to identify each of the company\u2019s divisions.<\/span><\/p>\nThe two divisions are called \u201cGUIL Event Industry Division<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cGUIL Material Lifters Division<\/strong>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1683707114825{padding-top: 15px !important;}”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
GUIL is currently a market leader in design, production and distribution of a wide range of material lifters and accessories to lift and positioning of an infinite variety of materials.\u00a0 Since it was founded, GUIL has helped its customers to carry out their work and execute their projects on all five continents, expanding their distributor network and growing at a steady pace to propose solutions for the material lifting industry.<\/span><\/p>\nThis anniversary \u00a0simply reaffirms the values that have marked this Spanish company\u2019s progress during these 40 years: a commitment to people, innovation and internationalisation, retaining the essential qualities of a family company and keeping their centre of operations in Valencia.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201c40 years is a long time,\u201d says Eduardo Hinarejos, \u201cbut it has gone by quickly, full of projects, innovative ideas, new lines of business, activities, trade fairs, collaborations and great friendships.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”21932″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1683703585746{padding-top: 15px !important;padding-right: 15px !important;padding-bottom: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;}”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1683703881616{padding-top: 10px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
