Weather resistant, sturdy aluminium module to make curved choral risers. (Net Weight: 11 Kg)

GRT-2 choral risers are stylish at the same time as being strong, versatile and sturdy. Their quick and easy set-up, and special trapezium design (dimensions: 1245 x 500 x 1070 mm), makes our choral risers the perfect product for choirs who perform in a curved formation.

Note: these modules can be combined with the straight modules GR-2 as an alternative for making larger curved risers.

GRT-2 choral risers offer the best solution for any lightweight function, either for permanent indoor installations or temporary outdoor events. Thanks to their versatility the GRT-2 modules allow you to make risers of as many levels as needed. Contact our sales team for us to design the choral riser that best suits your needs.

The risers can be set up with different types of legs depending on your requirements;

– Fixed height legs

– Fixed height legs with leveller foot (5 cm of adjustment)

– Telescopic legs which allow a millimetre by millimetre adjustment.

Choral riser modules are provided with four leg sockets made from strong extruded aluminium, each one secured to the profiles by means of 4 bolts and self-locking hex nuts; guaranteeing maximum strength and durability. The legs are inserted into the aluminium sockets and are quickly and easily secured with an ergonomic metallic pressure knob, which guarantees the legs are firmly held in place.

Note: Each GRT-2 module is supplied with the necessary connectors to join one to another (ref. TMU-01 and TMU-02)

Trapezoidal standing choral risers

Panel
GRT-2 choral modules have a 15 mm thick panel, made of best quality birch plywood (WBP), composed of phenolic resin coated layers, making them resistant to bad weather conditions and humidity.
The marine plywood used is specially designed for those applications that require high wear resistance and good non-slip properties. The composition of the plywood with multiple layers makes our panels very compact and sturdy.

The panel is made with WBP glue, for humidity resistance, as well as a treatment for resistance against commonly used cleaning products. These features guarantee the highest resistance and durability for both indoor and outdoor use. To make this panel even longer lasting, all its edges have been sealed with acrylic paint (according to BFU 100) to prevent water infiltration.

The birch panel used meets the requirements of the following standards:
– EN 13986:2004+A1:2015
– EN 314-2/clase 3
– DIN 53799
– DIN 5113

NOTE: Our choral risers are designed for situations where short periods of rain or bad weather may appear and threaten your event. Rather than having to dismantle your stage immediately, the show can go on without fear of your deck surface warping or delaminating like other stage platforms. If the bad weather persists the platforms should be dried and stored away. The deck surface is weather resistant, NOT WATERPROOFED, but can withstand moisture on an intermittent basis. It was not designed to be used as a permanent installation where it is exposed to harsh elements all year round.
Frame
GRT-2 module has a strong frame made with special profiles.

The plywood panel is secured to the frame structure by means of strong adhesive foam, stainless steel screws and silicone, which prevent possible noises and vibrations, and also contribute to their overall weather resistance.
The leg sockets are made in sturdy aluminium and each one is fixed to the profiles by means of 4 bolts and self-locking hex nuts; guaranteeing maximum strength and durability.
Its multi-functional continuous rail design guarantees a quick and easy platform connection, allowing easy attachment of a wide range of accessories: access stairs, safety rails, skirting, etc.
* We offer the possibility of painting the frame and legs of the choral riser in any desired colour.

GUIL modules for choral risers can be set up using 3 types of leg: fixed height legs, fixed height legs with leveller stoppers and telescopic legs.

– PTA5-F: Legs for a fixed platform height.

– PTA5-N: Fixed height legs with leveller.

– PTA5-T: Telescopic legs, adjustable millimetre by millimetre.

GUIL modules for choral risers can be set up using 3 types of leg: fixed height legs, fixed height legs with leveller stoppers and telescopic legs.

Ref. PTA5-F • FIXED HEIGHT LEGS

Fixed height legs manufactured with high strength extruded aluminium that have an external square profile of 50 x 50 mm and four 4mm internal nerves. The legs have a special non-skid injected rubber terminals ensuring a perfect fit to any surface.

Note: When we specify the height of the legs, the height given is of the stage: from the floor to the top surface of the platform.

Ref. PTA5-N • FIXED HEIGHT LEGS WITH LEVELLER FOOT

Fixed height legs manufactured with high strength extruded aluminium that have an external square profile of 50 x 50 mm and four 4mm internal nerves.

These legs have a leveller with M12 stainless steel rod and blocking nuts, which allows us to adjust the height by 5cm, guaranteeing durability and a perfect adjustment on slightly uneven ground.

The leveller come with a foot pad injected with special industrial, non-marring, non-marking rubber ensuring a perfect grip to any surface and prevents damage to delicate flooring (parquet, laminate, etc.).

Ref. PTA5-T • TELESCOPIC LEGS

Telescopic legs are manufactured with high strength extruded aluminium, have an external square profile of 50 x 50 mm and special non-skid rubber terminals secured to the leg with two screws.

Its telescopic design offers different heights with just one set of legs (adjustable millimetre by millimetre) and ensures a perfectly levelled stage when setting up on uneven surfaces (ramps, stairs, outdoor terrain, etc.) in a quick, easy and reliable way.

The legs have an external profile with four 4mm internal nerves and an internal profile with 9 internal nerve walls.

La altura de las patas se fija mediante un doble cierre de seguridad; con el pomo de presión metálico se ajusta y se fija la altura deseada y como medida adicional de seguridad, las patas se bloquean mediante tuerca de M10, asegurando de esta manera una fijación total de la altura de las patas.

* Disponibles juegos de cuatro ruedas para usar con patas telescópicas (Ref. CQR/5).

The leg height is blocked with a double locking system. Once the desired height is achieved the leg is secured with a metallic pressure knob, then, as an added safety measure legs are blocked with an M10 nut and bolt, firmly locking the legs in position.

* For easy manoeuvrability, GUIL manufactures sets of four castors for telescopic legs (Ref. CQR/5).

Each GRT-2 choral module is supplied with the following connectors:

TMU-01 Profile connector: Connects modules by their profile. This part allows you to make the whole riser accurately level.

TMU-02 Frame clamp connector (stainless steel): Connects modules by the underside of the frames. This system reinforces the stability of the entire riser.

Note: The different levels of the riser are connected to each other using the TMU-12 connector (not included). This connector allows you to join modules on different levels by their profile quickly and easily.
