GUIL’s Crowd Control Barriers with STING in Cluj-Napoca, Rumania

On 30th September 2022, the singer STING put on a concert in the BT Arena in the Rumanian town of Cluj-Napoca, and the company Byron Audiovisual Events used GUIL’s Crowd Control Barriers to section off the floor of the arena in front of the stage. From their position behind the ATV-07 barriers in the sold-out arena, the crowd had a fantastic evening.

A big concert brings a lot of complications that need to be identified and catered for before the day of the concert itself. One of these complications in stadium concerts or similar is how to keep the public from rushing the stage: with a large open space, it can be easy for a group of people to push past security staff and try to get on to the stage.
GUIL provides a reliable solution to this problem, with their ATV Crowd Control Barriers. 1m wide and 1.28m high, they can be joined together to form a row of barriers that close off access to the stage, divide a large space into smaller areas, make corridors for the public to move along, etc. In addition, a 52cm-high step allows the security staff standing behind the barrier to get a better look at the crowd from a greater height if necessary.
