An open-air summer evening concert by the Malaga Symphony Orchestra at the Victory Sanctuary, and an enjoyable evening out for nearly 500 residents in that Spanish city. Just one complication: the concert takes place on the steps in front of the Sanctuary, and there’s not enough space on the terrace at the top of the steps for all the instruments. This is not a problem for Desonido, though, who work with GUIL’s stage decks and accessories, and were able to create 3 different stage areas at different heights to accommodate all the musicians.
Using stage decks and legs of different lengths, Desonido built a two-level platform at the back of the terrace for the percussion and other larger instruments, then a special platform, with telescopic legs to the steps and safety rails at each side, that extended the level of the terrace over the main flight of steps to form a third platform for the majority of the musicians.
