Aluminium crowd control gate
Crowd Control Gates, made in reinforced aluminium, specially designed to offer maximum safety and strength for crowd control and space separation.
Controlled access to restricted areas is achieved by installing the ATV-08 gate into the lengths of connected barriers, making the job of controlling and maintenance easy only for the authorised personnel. The gate can be fitted with two padlocks to lock them and block unauthorised access. They have 2 wheels for a better handling.
Our barriers not only offer technicians, security staff and authorised personnel a safe area to operate from, but they are also made with the safety and comfort of the audience in mind.
Our barriers and gate barriers, with a quick and easy set-up, are certified in accordance with the following European Norm EN 13200-3:2005 (spectator facilities, Part 3: Requirements for Separation elements).

Safe and controlled access to restricted areas
ATV-08 Gate barriers, together with our standard barriers and practical barriers with an access hole for cables are an indispensable item for public events where a safe space division is needed (concerts, launching of products, performances, political meetings, sports events, etc). Thanks to the combination of these three elements restricted areas can be completely customised to your requirements.
Coupling System
A quick and easy crowd control assembly is achieved by joining the modules using the spigot-socket coupling system. Thanks to these couplers the barriers can be set up on uneven surfaces. This joining system also guarantees maximum stability and resistance to the whole structure without the need to use any tools or have any loose parts.
Design and manufacturing
GUIL crowd barrier gates are made with a reinforced aluminium sheet with a fretwork surface which has three functions: to lighten the structure weight without reducing safety, to allow the sound to go through and to guarantee total visibility.
All the edges of the ATV barriers are rounded to prevent injuries to the audience and guarantees public safety and comfort at all times (there are no sharp edges).
Being barriers made entirely of aluminum, we avoid rusty problems, guaranteeing greater durability than the steel options and of course, their weight is also much lower.
Ramp
Our reinforced barriers have a base with a ramp design (not a stepped edge) and the base plate is covered in diamond plate aluminium both of which prevents public from tripping or slipping.
Transport & Storage
The ATV-08 Crowd Control Gates have two heavy-duty castors (Ø 100 mm / 3.94″) to facilitate its handling and positioning in the set-up area (wheelbarrow style).
Thanks to its special hinged system this modular structure is fully foldable making them easy to handle and store. As it is a complete compact unit, there is no possibility of losing any components, making it perfect for temporary events.
Transport container/trolley
These practical Crowd Control Gates can be carried and stored in our special container Ref. CTO-ATV. These containers can be stacked, thus reducing the barriers storage space.
For easier handling and manoeuvrability, this useful container can be converted into a trolley just by adding our set of four swivel wheels with brakes ref. CTR-03, sold separately.
Verified Safety in accordance with UNE-EN 13200-3
GUIL ATV anti-panic barriers have been designed and verified in accordance with UNE-EN 13200-3:2019 – Spectator facilities. Part 3: Separating elements – Requirements.
For high-density standing spectator configurations, the standard establishes horizontal loads that may reach values of up to: 5 kN per linear metre
In such cases, barriers shall withstand test loads equivalent to 1.2 times this load, in accordance with Annex A.2 of the standard. Accordingly, ATV barriers have been tested by applying a horizontal load exceeding: 6 kN/m, in compliance with the requirements set out by the standard.
In addition, they comply with the general requirements regarding:
- Minimum regulatory height of 1.1 m
- Structural adequacy of anchorage systems
- Safe design without hazardous protrusions
GUIL ATV barriers have been developed to ensure structural safety in concerts, festivals and high-density public events, with verified resistance and documented compliance in accordance with European standards.
