GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • What warranty does GUIL offer for its products?

    All our products are guaranteed against any manufacturing defect, for a period of 36 months from the invoice date. The warranty only covers the replacement of defective parts and labor costs. GUIL will not be responsible, in any case, for damages of any nature that may arise from improper use or normal wear and tear of the product; as well as those products that have undergone modifications by the customer.

  • Can I visit GUIL?

    We would be delighted to welcome you to our factory. Although keep in mind that you will need to make an appointment with the specialists from our Sales Department. You can find the location and our opening hours in the Contact section of our website.

  • How can I request a quote?

    You have various different options:

    – Click here to go to the GUIL contact form.

    – Send an email to info@guil.es with your full contact details, models and quantities of the products that you are interested in, and we will contact you.

    – By phone, call us on (+34) 962 996 500.

  • What is the availability of the products?

    In addition to our factory, we have a central warehouse of more than 5000 m² to provide a quick service to our customers and distributors. We have immediate availability of most of our products, but it undoubtedly depends on the quantity required. The average lead time for the preparation of an international order ranges between 2 and 5 days.

  • What is the transit time of the products?

    This factor depends on where the order has to be delivered to, its volume and the transport agency. Check with your sales representative or your distributor about the delivery time of your order.

  • How can you become a GUIL distributor?

    If you wish to become a GUIL distributor, contact our Head Office using the GUIL Distributor contact form.

  • Where can I find additional information about a product?

    In each of the product pages you can download related documents (in the “Downloads” tab), such as technical sheet, user manual, certificate, etc.
    You can access the product page in two ways:

    – through the search engine on our website, located in the upper right corner
    – through the “Products” area, searching among the different families and sub-families of products.

    If you cannot find the information you are looking for on the web, do not hesitate to contact our Sales Department.

  • How do I request a spare / replacement part for a product?

    To request a spare part or to send us a tower for periodic maintenance, it is necessary to contact the representative / distributor through which you purchased the product, who will be in charge of processing the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) of the product. You can also contact our technical service where we will be happy to assist you.

  • Does GUIL rent the products it manufactures?

    No, at GUIL we manufacture and sell, we do not have material for rent.

  • How can I subscribe to the newsletter?

    To subscribe to our newsletter and receive the latest news from GUIL, you can fill out the form here.

  • How to sign up to GUIL’s Customer Area?

    • Enter GUIL’s website and go to the section ‘My Customer Area’.
    • Click on: Sign up by clicking here
    • Fill in the form.
    • Click on “Create Customer Account”

    Once you have finished the signing-up process, you will receive an e-mail telling you that your application is pending approval. 

    Finally, between 24-72 hours later, you will receive an e-mail informing you that your application has been confirmed by GUIL, and you can enter your Customer Area.

    Important: The Customer Area is available only for distributors and for companies who have already bought our products, who are therefore already customers of GUIL.

  • How to sign in to GUIL’s Customer Area?

    Important:  In order to sign in to GUIL’s Customer Area, you must have signed up previously.  Sign up by clicking here

    • Go to the section My Customer Area’.
    • Fill in the entry details (E-mail address and password) and click on SIGN IN.

  • How to cancel your registration in GUIL’s Customer Area?

    If you wish to cancel your registration in GUIL’s Customer Area, you have only to inform us by sending an e-mail to info@guil.es, writing as the Subject “Cancel Customer Area.

  • Can I order special or custom products?

    Yes of course. GUIL manufactures and supplies a wide range of standard products, and of course we can also design and manufacture special products. For example, stage platforms with special sizes or shapes, trusses of different lengths or with different finishes, towers of different heights and loads.

    Contact the factory or your nearest GUIL dealer for more information.

  • How can I request a spare or replacement part?

    GUIL manufactures all the products it supplies and has spare parts for its products. To request a spare part, you must send an email to info@guil.es with the photo of the product and/or the detail of the part you need, and all the information related to the replacement (for example, purchase invoice number and date of purchase (if you have it), or serial number of the tower, etc).

  • Does GUIL have a suggestion box?

    At GUIL we are always open to suggestions from our distributors and customers. You can send us an email to marketing@guil.es: your ideas, advice and comments are always welcome!

  • Are GUIL products certified?

    Of course, all the products that GUIL manufactures have a certificate of conformity. In most of our products, these certificates are delivered with the user manual along with the goods sent. If you have lost the certificate of one of our products, do not hesitate to contact GUIL.

PLATFORMS – STAGES – BARRIERS

  • Is it possible to customise a platform for my event?

    Of course! GUIL, as a manufacturer, adapts to the needs of its customers. You can customise practically everything of our platforms: measurements, shape, colour, different surface finishes … Put us to the test and we will surprise you!

  • Can I use the platforms outdoors?

    Yes of course. All our platforms are prepared and certified for outdoor use. For more information, please the see the User’s Manual.

  • Can I request special shapes?

    Yes, we can do it. We can manufacture all kinds of shapes, both rectangular, triangular and trapezium-shaped, even cut-out platforms to work round a column, for example.

  • Why don't GUIL decks have a reinforcement bar?

    Because our decks do not require under-panel reinforcing crossbars! Their components guarantee maximum safety (reinforced frame profile, Finnish plywood made from 100% birch wood (21 mm thick) and connectors); exceeding the required load capacity specified in the current standards, during the load tests carried out by DEKRA.

  • Does it take a long time for my platform orders to be shipped?

    Our platform manufacturing department will surprise you at how fast it can prepare your order. One of our main aims at GUIL is to offer a service that is as fast and effective as possible and we assure you that your platform orders will be prepared within a few days, or even hours …

  • Can I customise my platforms, tiered stages, DJ tables?

    Of course. For example, we can paint the aluminium frames and legs in your corporate colour. Or we can manufacture special sizes to fit your specific project.

TOWERS FOR SOUND, LIGHTING AND LED

  • Which tower is the right one for me?

    At GUIL we manufacture more than 50 models of lifting towers. Depending on the use that you are going to give it, the height required and the load to be lifted, we can offer you versions to raise from 80 kg of load to 1000 kg. Contact our Sales Department so that we can offer you personalised advice.

  • What structure is the most suitable for my LED screen?

    We manufacture structures for LEDs of different sizes and of different weights for indoor and outdoor use. Contact our Sales Department so that we can give you personalised advice.

  • Are the towers supplied with all components?

    Yes, we manufacture and sell the finished product, fully equipped, ready for use (accessories not included).

TRUSSES AND RIGGING

  • Can I order painted trusses?

    Of course! We can paint the trusses to adapt them to your projects.

  • What tube diameters are your claw clamps for?

    We manufacture more than 50 different models for tubes from 30 mm to 70 mm. You can see the whole range by clicking here.

  • Are the trusses supplied with the connectors?

    GUIL will always ship the trusses complete with their connectors, ready for use.

  • Do you have any product to hang a load from a roof?

    Yes, we manufacture a beam / girder clamp for a load capacity of 2000 kg. You can see the technical specification sheet by clicking here.

     

  • I set up tents and need a clamp to hang sound and lighting. Do you make something for that?

    Yes, we have developed two models of adjustable clamps to be able to fix them both horizontally and vertically to the beams and pillars of the tents. You can see them by clicking here.

AUDIOVISUAL AND SOUND STANDS – BARRIER POSTS

  • Can you customise your TV stands?

    Of course, we are manufacturers. We can develop the model you need (different heights and colours). Within our standard range we manufacture mobile stands for screens of up to 80”.

  • Can I use the belt and rope barriers outdoors?

    Of course. Our stanchions are made of stainless steel and can be used both indoors and in covered exteriors.

  • Can I convert a GUIL retractable-belt barrier post into a rope barrier?

    Yes! This is one of the features that make the difference between our barriers and others on the market. The head of our stanchions is removable and can be interchanged, easily transforming a retractable-belt barrier into a rope barrier, and vice versa!

  • If the tube or any component of the stanchion is damaged, should I buy a new one?

    No, just tell us what replacement you need and we will send you a new one to give you a more economical solution. Thanks to our special design, you can order any of the parts independently (base, post, head). You won’t have to buy a new complete post!

FURNITURE FOR BANDS – ORCHESTRA – CHOIRS

  • Can I customise a music stand?

    Sure, our project department is always ready to study customisations for your music stands, such as a higher or lower desk, something for a person with special needs; or a different colour due to branding requirements.

  • Can I customise a choral riser?

    Yes, their modular design is perfect for this. We manufacture coral risers with a straight design and with a curved shape, but as manufacturers we can design special risers and customise all the components to meet the needs of the choir members and the space where they are to be installed.

  • Do the conductor's platforms have safety rails, can other heights or measurements be made?

    We manufacture 4 standard models of podiums for orchestra conductors, all with safety rails. Because for GUIL, safety comes first! Different heights and measurements? Of course, we can make them for you.
