In the centre of the courtyard, also forming a clear contrast with the building, its red decor and the new fashion collection, stood a circle of GUIL lifters, eight ULK 500 towers holding the speaker system that provided the music as the models walked across the sand.  The sober black towers formed a visual frame too, providing a focal point as the models followed the path through the centre of the circle from one side to the other of the courtyard.  Discreet in colour, but at the same time a quietly strong, functional presence, the ULK 500s, like the clothes the models wore, were another reminder that, although we were in a 17th-Century seminary, this is very much the 21st Century.

A lifter with a maximum lifting capacity of 220 kg to a height of up to 6.30 m, the ULK 500 is a versatile tower that can be used for a number of jobs in event organisation.  Just as in Ferragamo’s show, they can hold a speaker system so that the sound at your concert, festival, fashion show, etc, gets heard over a wide area, making sure that everybody enjoys the show.  Similarly, they can hold lighting elements to illuminate the stage, raise truss parts to set up the structure that you need, or hold LED screens or projectors for backdrops, etc . . .  The black powder paint provides a water-resistant covering, which allows the ULK 500 to be used for both indoor and outdoor events.

New fashion collections are presented in shows like Ferragamo’s in September, but then their presence expands via social media to reach every corner of our lives. Ferragamo have announced the creation of their own metaverse, and GUIL’s lifters are going to be a part of that venture.  We are proud to know that GUIL’s products will continue to play an active part in the promotion of Ferragamo’s creations with their presence in the company’s metaverse.  We can’t wait for it to go live!
