GUIL have restyled the “ELECTRIC” electrical system in all the models of their TORO material lifter range.

The ELECTRIC system offers the user a safe, practical way to lift almost any kind of material, converting our hand-operated towers into electrical lifters.

GUIL manufactures over 20 models of TORO material lifters, designed specifically for the industrial and construction sectors, and they are very versatile tools.  Thanks to their UNIQUE DESIGN, they can be used in installations where it is necessary to work flush to the wall (installing glass, windows, panels, etc) by simply moving the legs to position them behind the base of the mast to configure a counterbalance lifter.  In addition, with the help of the “ELECTRIC” lifting system designed by GUIL, considerably less resources are devoted to load manipulation, which, in turn, saves time and increases productivity.

GUIL’s “ELECTRIC” system has two important advantages:

• Quick and effortless working
• A dual-power device: in the event of problems with the electrical supply, you can put the handle back on the winch and use it manually.

This new generation of TORO lifters, with load capacities from 150 kg to 440 kg, can easily be adapted for different needs and applications, making load manipulation simpler and saving money and resources.  They contribute in this way to a safer, more efficient and worker-friendly workplace.

The “ELECTRIC” system consists of:

•  A special METABO drill (Germany) with built-in surge protection
• Reduction gearing
• Adaptor to fasten the drill to the winch of the lifter

The adaptor grips the drill safely and firmly, meaning that the user need not hold the drill, allowing them to work one-handed.  As well as being more convenient, this avoids the risk of possible damage or injury.

All the TORO lifters incorporate the following systems patented by GUIL:

Autobrake winch; IPB System (Internal Pendular Brake); MSU System (Manual Stage-Unblocking System).

These GUIL systems guarantee maximum safety and fall protection, fulfilling at all times the standards of strength, stability and manoeuvrability necessary for lifting goods.  Using GUIL’s industrial lifting towers allows users to devote less resources to the manipulation of goods, saving time with each movement and increasing efficiency and productivity.
