Signs, billboards and similar objects come in many shapes and sizes, but most of them need to be installed at least 3 or 4 metres off the ground. GUIL’s TORO lifters can lift loads of over 400 kg to a maximum height of 8.00 metres, holding the object there while you fasten it in place. As the TORO does the lifting and holding, each job can be done more quickly and efficiently, with less fitters, resulting in greater productivity.
You may often require a counterbalance lifter to lift your sign and move it next to a wall or similar surface for fixing. GUIL have the answer here, too, in their exclusive 2-in-1 lifters. All our TORO B-, C- and D-range lifters can be set up as standard or as counterbalance models, with changing between configurations taking just 2 or 3 minutes. Why buy two lifters when you only need one?

Safety is another great advantage of using GUIL lifters. Working at height means standing on ladders while holding and manoeuvring large objects, but the TORO lifts and holds your sign at the required height, and you only have to fix it where necessary. With its side stabilisers and levelling jacks, the TORO won’t move as you work, ensuring safety not just for you, but also for any members of the public passing near your worksite.
The TORO B-, C- and D-range devices also include as standard the following safety measures: auto-brake winches, masts with emergency brake systems and our own mast unblocking mechanisms. They allow the user to lift bulky or heavy items with total confidence in the stability of the lifter.

Our TORO lifters are light and compact, bearing in mind their lifting capacities, and can be transported in a van with the signs or other material that you need to install. They are fitted with large wheels to be moved over uneven terrain, and are available in stowed heights from 161 cm to 199 cm, with the Compact versions having one more mast stage than the standard models and a lower stowed height for a similar lifting height.
